Often appearing with Midwestern bands, Bear Creek, Midnight Rider and High Noon, he collaborated with virtuoso Minneapolis guitarist Lonnie Knight and created his first album in the early nineties. Relocating full time to Knoxville has begun playing and singing with the Chillbillies in the late 90’s and is often featured covering artist from Hank Williams, Jr. to Louis Armstrong to Bob Seger. He has joined the Chillbillies in opening for Johnny Lang, Aaron Tippon, Hank Williams, Jr., Delbert McClinton, Con Hunley, Rodney Adtkins, Ralph Stanley and has conspired with other local artists like Jenna and the Jones, James House and Dean Dillon. The Chillbillies have headlined one of Knoxville’s premier fundraisers, The Evergreen Ball for nine years. They have a standing engagement for New Year’s Eve at Fox Den Country Club. They have performed at hundreds of weddings (sometimes with Tim officiating). For the last nine years, Tim has been the Judge of Knox County Juvenile Court.
“I believe music should be fun and a good band should play what its audience wants to hear. When we stop having fun then we’ll quit.”
